@sun @romin it is. Looks exactly like the manga. It's very jarring comparing it to the magnificent and very serious old anime of it though

@coolboymew @romin I actually never liked the old movie because it completely stripped every otaku characteristic of masamune shirow's work. it was good in its own way though but not for me

@sun @romin we watch the first movie on movie night and it kinda sucked, it was one of those all style not much substance thing

The 90s seasonal anime though is fantastic
