I think that a lot of the people who want to to digitally disconnect and buy brand new devices designed around that purpose could probably do with buying a 30 dollar used android 4 phone from ebay or something
(I say this even as somebody who bought the commodore callback lmaoo)

If you wanna disconnect, let your phone go empty and don't charge it. Don't fall for the consumerist dream of "everything can be solved with innovation/a new product".

@siblingsofthevoid i kind of agree but for me a phone is more about being able to contact somebody in an emergency or take a critical call or message in the moment rather than any other feature. like i don't want to be completely offline and offgrid when i leave the house, i just don't want to be completely accessible and distracted 100% of the time.
