3Have fun friend
(edit: OH NO MY "t" on my keyboard has borked TWICE now AHHHHHHH DON'T DIE ON ME KEYBOARD
My laptop keyboard has lost basically its entire top row so I've started bringing around a mechanical Bluetooth keyboard made of solid aluminum. Perhaps you be autistic like me.
(my dad used to work for IBM and I used to be able to get these keyboards for free from him, oh how I miss my klackety keyboard, the new ones that try to be klackety are never quite the same

38I attached a picture of my Keychron Q6, which is aluminum with blue switches and heavy as fuck and feels quite comfortable.
That one looks like it goes hard.
I have a tactical solid milled aluminium keyboard as well just in case someone thinks they're gonna come up on me
I bought graf's aluminum keyboard as soon as he showed it to me and it is honestly the best non-DIN-connector keyboard I've ever had. But the KEYCAPS ARE STILL TOO LIGHT.
lol it does sound like we share the same keyboard autism ![]()
I'm daily driving a ducky one 3 tkl with cherry blue switches but if i have guests over sometimes I'll switch to the aluminum one because it's got pudding switches or whatever the fuck they are called and they're not as loud so I can make an idiot of myself online and it doesn't keep anybody awake
Last time I was at graf's place I heard him typing on the aluminum keyboard while I was asleep and I was like "what the fuck is that? oh right I know what that is."
Not joking colleen. Somebody brought the same one to the poast summer summit and then like 3 of us bought the same one. For self defense
(...but mine were free, and I'm sure this is very expensive
I started reading this and then my brain just drifted to "my uncle works for Nintendo" and I'm now fully aware of how fried my entire grey matter is
One of my keyboards has that same sort of feel except the actual keycaps are a bit too light. The rest are just gamer trash; better than non-mechanical keyboards but not as good as the real thing.
And just to top it off, it had no numpad
"What are ergonomics? Is that a sex thing?"
I think that might actually be it, but it also had a stupid plastic cover on it that made it even worse to hit any button
AND THOSE STUPID MICE
WHO MADE THOSE
They wanted a clean aesthetic with no lines around the buttons, so the entire thing is a touch sensitive button which you constantly click by accident because any pressure anywhere on the front of the mouse activates it.
How does it know which button you want? It's touch sensitive. So you have to only have the correct finger on whichever button you want to use. The other one just has to kinda hover painfully. Whenever you *don't* want to click anything you have to shuffle it around with the heel of your palm.
That dot in the middle is the scrollwheel/trackball. It has almost no resistance so a strong breeze sets it off. You end up constantly activating it by accident, just like the buttons.
I used that mouse for around a week before I started bringing my own to class. It's practically designed for wrist strain/fatigue.
the creator(s) of this also need to go
(IN MINECRAFT, OF COURSE
Don't forget this one
There was zero reason for this. Dozens of people saw this and said "send it"
There are several generations of this design too. They even updated it with USB C when that became standard.
Keep in mind, wireless charging in phones has been standard for almost a decade. They could have just... Made it wireless charging
I have never used (induction?) charging for my phone.
I use magnetic charging all the time on my pixel it's King Shit
"oops. Gee golly boss. The mouse is dead. Looks like I'll need to take an hour break to let it charge before I can do anything else. Oh and look at that, it's only 30 minutes until quitting time." ![]()
No. Apple thought of that, too. 2 minute quick charge would provide up to 9 hours of use
I had a Logitech mouse in the 2010s which recharged in a cradle with, like, contacts. It was still better than plugging a USB cord into its mussy.
Colleen you should paint the apple mouse being charged jpeg I guarantee you if you brought it to an irl sale somebody would be so confused by why somebody paint it that it could fetch a fortune. Think about it
Did you know that we know more about """"space""""" than we know about our own oceans? Did you know king GabeN is using his steam fortune from gamers to study the oceans? Oceanography, marine biology are peak gamer knowledge
