So I found out through some digging last night that the claude app can crash simply by having windows explorer open. This seems to be a problem for a lot of people who use it

I take this as a good thing because it means Windows usage is dropping dramatically among anyone who seriously programs

@scathach @PurpCat if you got a team of competent people inside Microsoft with an interest in fixing windows I'm betting they could do it reasonably quickly. Most of it is probably unfathomable choices like having the desktop run a web framework

I've heard stories of the big tech application selection process and the way it's orchestrated is that if you're turned down you can never be considered again for any reason. So if they just happen to be on a big H1B sprint that month because they wanted to bring over their cousins and you applied during that window, you're banned from the organization forever.
