@icedquinn Downloaded the newest version of newsflash, and now my rustc (1.95) is too old. One of the dependencies requires 1.96 which is current release minus one. How can anybody actually use this "ecosystem" is beyond me. Imagine if you had to upgrade GCC/Clang every two weeks to compile software.
@silverpill @icedquinn So Mitra has a similar issue as Pleroma, I see. You can't build Pleroma on anything but newest Ubuntu LTS/Debian, because Elixir and Erlang are too old on 24.04/12. Because maintainers blindly bump the minimum Elixir version to the last supported version without it being needed, or must use the shiniest new features. Only option is too use mise/asdf to install new versions in a separate environment, or use Docker.
