Also good to know that this ID verification shit is also apparently coming to Czech Republic. So goodbye to the plans of hosting this instance in my home country if that passes. (It will, previous government now in opposition also wanted it.)

@snacks Legally it is probably both. In the case of UK, you will get ofcommed as a UK company with servers elsewhere, or as a company elsewhere with servers in UK. And UK is one of the example laws that others are getting "inspired" by. The owner part can likely be solved by running the instance under an LLC somewhere.
