Whoever at Mozilla decided that pressing Esc while a page is loading should stop loading page needs to have their brain gears rearranged.

Esc just goes out of insert mode or unhighlights a text area (which is what I would expect a browser to do instead of stopping page load).

@twinspin6 I would expect it to un-select the text area I was in. Because typing a URL in the URL bar, pressing Enter and then Esc stops it dead in it's tracks immediately. Same with using any search engine.
