America doesn't have a justice system so much as a punishment system (a subtle but crucial distinction).

Punishment is only doled out when it's easy or politically/financially expedient. Thus the re-offender committing a murder mere days after release.

Fine by me. The way I look at it, my forebears disliked America to the point of fighting to the death rather than be incorporated. The Yankees broke it, they bought it.

The whole nation-state thing is dead. People move, it is what it is.

So the next best thing is countries / states can do whatever shit they want, however they want to figure it out, and we're gonna put them on a big list based on how much of a shithole they are, and then move to the ones that suck the least.

And obviously the ones that suck the least aren't gonna let in just anyone, but if they're smart, they'll let in high value people because it benefits them to do so.
