@parker Start typing letters to people on fedi and mail them. Then start sending schizophrenic rants to news outlets and government officials
@graf To everyone on fedi, please DM me your home address. I'm actually good for it.
@parker Bookmarked this to send you the po box address when I get home from the local

@parker u don't need an app or a subscription to use it I've heard of that happening with fridges printers and grills. That's kinda valuable
@Soy_Magnus Also it's got a great keyboard.
@scenesbycolleen @graf I probably had your return address somewhere, but likely threw it out.
@parker it looks like a very well kept piece of equipment that's a great find¡ Is it fully functional or have u been able to test it yet¿
Use it to shitpost on fedi
@scenesbycolleen @graf I'm happy to be pen pals.
@scenesbycolleen @graf I'll even dig out my sealing wax
@Soy_Magnus It said tested in the ad, and came a with the old ribbon, but I'll check it shortly.
@parker I'll hope for u¡ I bought a printer one time and it wouldn't turn on I was pretty sad
@Soy_Magnus Even if it was fried I could probably fix it. I've fixed a few tube radios from as early as the late 40s.
@parker If I recall correctly, it has 20 letters cache. I typed faster than the typewriter and waited it to finish.
@immobile I don't type or think fast enough for that to be a concern.
@tyler Typewriter bot would be a hit I'm sure.
@parker No doubt. But imagine at the 80s doing something like that futuristic, you type and typewriter finish later than you. That was kind of cool.
And I have been ever since grateful for taking that typewriting class, learned the 10 finger system much earlier than I ever needed it with computers.

@immobile I did a bit of Mavis beacon when I was a kid, but really 99% of my typing ability came from talking to my high school GF on MSN Messenger.
