He likes to rile up fediblock mastodon with the most obvious bait by creating multiple alts at least once a week. Somehow he got mad at f0x a month or more ago and this is the result, trying similar tactics to get a reaction. So far it never worked out. Also supposedly not all the fediblock bait is done by him, which is possible, but the timing of baiting fediblock yesterday and day before that is too close to this "f0xluvsp_at_fsebugoutzoneorg" larp.

They invented that thing. And it's what Mastodon based their "consent-quoting" on. What do you expect from people that get mad at you for getting accurate amount of users on instance statistics (as a "scraper") to the point of lying in the API, but still displaying it correctly on /index.html. Breaking federation is their bread and butter and making a social network less social apparently their goal.

One thing they don't do is claim to not be running Pokeymon Go to the Social. "We want it unmappable and uncountable...but we do want to make sure everyone knows we're running Pokeymon Go to the Social!"

Yeah, I heard about them early on because a friend of a friend and I looked at it and cutesy thick-lined corporate-style logo and massive code of conduct and they didn't even federate yet. It's only gone downhill.

IIRC there were some allegations in the past that the devs were cops or something like that. My brain could have made that up though. Still the fact that moon got banned from their issue tracker while helping someone never gets old.

their main problem is its a bunch of trannies trying to shoehorn pronouns into the spec instead of creating a task that periodically wipes the states from rooms, epsecially rooms who have had their versions upgraded because it stores every login, logout, every ip, every time you logged in, logged out, where you were scrolled in the room, any time you changed your profile picture. for everybody in every room you join. you run a public server, they join a room with 60-70k people now your server is storing that data for all of those people without ever pruning. ever.
