@afreytes in Sicilian one would read it as “lu pilu” (accent on the i) meaning “the hair”, specifically the female pubic hair as a metonymy for their genitals.
@afreytes there is no “Southern Italian” dialect. There are several, with varying degrees of similarity and difference, both in sounds and terminology. People from the North may be less sensitive to the differences, but obviously for us in the South they are more meaningful ;-)
Even Sicilian itself doesn't exist; there are at least three or four different forms, again with varying degrees of similarity and differences, although they are more similar to each other than e.g. to Neapolitan.
@afreytes so mostly the reason why I only speak of Sicilian is that's the only one I am more sure about, and I don't know if the specific thing I'm talking about is the same in other Southern dialects or how it differs (it may be just pronunciation, but sometimes the same or similar words even have completely different meanings!)

@u0421793 @kaia depends how well-formed the HTML is and what amount of conversion is needed. If the HTML is NOT well formed (as it usually isn't in these cases), XSLT cannot process it, but there are libraries for scripting languages that can do a pretty good job at selecting and extracting data (beautiful soup for example)

(BTW, several sci-fi novels present the case of planes with hyperdense population density where everyone lives inside and is uncomfortable with getting to the surface.)
