4Let's try this newfangled Bind 9.20 and see if it's a drop-in for me. So far, after reading this URL, it is.
I have it running on one in-house server. If nothing falls over during the next few days, I'll deploy it to others inhouse, before updating my public servers.
Just now, installed bind920 on all servers in the basement.
Next up, the world.

Annnnnnd done. I only have two servers running Bind these days, both are invisible primaries for systems running nsd.

@dvl Huh, my nagios instance did not alert me of such a thing. Plenty of gripes about Python 3.11, which seems inescapable right now. But I wonder why it never nagged me about Bind918.....
Oh, because that check got disabled on that one server.
Well frack me, how on Earth did that happen?

1@nuintari I am all for alerts which allow me to take action to resolve them.
If I can't resolve it now, I want to snooze that alert. pkg-audit is not fine grained enough to allow me to do that. It's all or nothing.
