It was supposed to promote harmless dweebs like Shapiro or Peterson as edgy. Thankfully Kirk has exploited this. But why would they waste money on such a ridiculous campaign? Well, the religious right in the US Shapiro is part of has been dying since the Bush Jr. and his horrible presidency dragged it down with itself. They are as tone deaf and retarded and will never be tolerated ever. The e-Catholics you see on birb site are huge LARP just like the NS fandom on /pol/. None of this looks organic and has often no connection to reality[1]. Some of their policies are even memes.
