@prettygood @hakui See the thing is, I just want to keep using the thing that already works. I don't need updates. The issue that no update people have with it is being forced to switch onto different versions when we already have something that we like. It's literally more work just to get a bad reception.
Things and products should always be "you got this one and like it? ok you can keep it forever until it breaks and you need a new one, and then we'll sell/give you the current version at the moment of replacement. We will only support your old version if we feel like it" and that's a great deal to me.

@hakui @prettygood That's a solution but it also requires extra work. My software ideal is "I put it there once in 2009 and it still works as long as I don't touch its guts"
