@mushroom_soup @LordMordred Fair point. That's why I always wear my sword of +5 Attractiveness.
@mushroom_soup Not every man is Daniel Craig or David Beckham some guys are just like Carl from ATHF or Terry Davis.
@mushroom_soup @LordMordred Look like a dog, smell like a dog, scratch balls like a dog.

you recently posted about having lost weight. notably, you said you were however-many pounds *down from your peak weight*. presumably that peak weight was unhealthy, and you are becoming healthier. (congrats btw.)
why did your weight reach a peak in the first place?
i don't disagree with the post i'm reponding to prima facie; you're right that there is a path and that people ought to walk it, literally as much as figuratively. however, you should also know as well as anybody else here how easy it is to be led astray.
instead of chiding those who refuse to make positive effort, do exactly what you have done and set an example. anybody who fails to be inspired into taking care of his or her health deserves to lay on the bed they are making. do not busy yourself trying to save them.
also, appearance and health are not singular things, once attained then locked away. instead they are the stemming and curtailing of constant processes eroding your mind and body. with this in view, every bit of energy you spend telling strangers online what they ought/ought not do is wasted, and would be better spent doing these things for yourself.

@mushroom_soup @LordMordred you wouldn't really notice if they did
women's attractiveness to men is 90% looks 10% everything else whereas men's attractiveness to women is the inverse.

@suquili @LordMordred I mean women are literally telling you to put more effort into your appearance
This is ironic, too, though, because men tend to rate women much kinder on the looks scale than we rate you guys... & likely other women (meaning you're actually more likely to date a 5, feeling as though she's a 7 by the scale we rate you).
But you're right... there are several non-looks qualities that raise male attractiveness for women, whereas women are less dynamic in that regard.

@mushroom_soup @LordMordred My wife likes me with an unkempt beard and scruffy hair. What do?
The dating market makes no sense, I regularly see smokeshows pairing up with unemployed dudes that don't bathe regularly
My advice for men is that you can't allow yourself to care what women think because it fundamentally doesn't affect how they evaluate your attractiveness

@mushroom_soup @LordMordred Women should be nicer to men, many fail to do so.
@mangeurdenuage @LordMordred @mushroom_soup lmao they can't even be nice to themselves or other women lmao
