@WandererUber @professionalbigot69 I think this is awesome. I certainly don’t think we can live forever, but his approach is advanced functional medicine with cutting edge treatments and enough money and specialists to basically be a human guinea pig. This type of approach might actually lead to some effective treatments or even cures for autoimmune conditions, which would be a huge medical breakthrough.
@BowsacNoodle @WandererUber @professionalbigot69 he's a pure reductionist, he will add nothing
biology requires context that our autistic civilization wants to treat a million different bacteria species in out stomachs as a collection of billiard balls and if they just think hard enough they can make it all bounce correctly forever.

@monkyyy @WandererUber @professionalbigot69 I see it as an applied biological sciences shotgun approach. If results are good, people will look for the best ROI on lifestyle approaches. Being ruled by a geriatric oligarchy is nothing new to us
@BowsacNoodle @WandererUber @professionalbigot69 The results airnt good, he already will die faster then his biological clock and whatever we "learn" from a lab rat wont generalize because Im not a millionaire who will have my poop and spream samaples analyzed by a full time doctor.
@monkyyy @BowsacNoodle @WandererUber @professionalbigot69 IT'S STILL A PRETTY GOOD USE OF HIS LIFE EVEN IF HE'S NOT GOING TO DISCOVER ANYTHING TOO COOL. JUST HAVING MORE KNOWLEDGE OF GUT BACTERIA AND SUCH IS WORTHWHILE, AND HE COULD JUST AS WELL HAD BEEN USING ALL THAT MONEY TO BUILD WELLS IN AFRICA OR SOMETHING
@nugger @monkyyy @BowsacNoodle @professionalbigot69 >EVEN IF HE'S NOT GOING TO DISCOVER ANYTHING TOO COOL.
unlike us lowly broke ambitionless depth-grovelers of course, who are mere seconds away from unlocking the secrets of the universe.
Any day now...

@WandererUber @monkyyy @BowsacNoodle @professionalbigot69 MEDICAL EXPERIMENTS WOULD BE A PRETTY USEFUL WAY TO EXPEND MY LIFE AS WELL, BUT UNLIKE THAT MILLIONAIRE GUY I HAVE OTHER PLANS FOR IT
@nugger @monkyyy @BowsacNoodle @professionalbigot69 It's a good thing people have such a healthy skepticism towards a 24/7 on-call staff of highly-paid medical professionals obsessing over your test results, otherwise we wouldn't know that it's far less risky to live a life of smoking cigarettes (the cancer stuff is pharma lies btw) and eating "red meat" (whatever slop is on sale at Costco or can be brought to the door by an ethnic).
@WandererUber @nugger @monkyyy @professionalbigot69 You know people can be somewhere in between full support for this vs huffing asbestos while swimming in mutagenic chemicals to own the libs. I personally think it’s neat, but I understand the skepticism. If we see that he dies at 82 like a normal dude or develops turbo cancer, it just drives home the need for people to focus on the eternal and transcendental instead of trying to acheive lichdom with today’s tech.
@BowsacNoodle @WandererUber @monkyyy @nugger @professionalbigot69 i am personally of the belief that God is very funny and he's gonna make anybody who tries to be immortal die at 45 and in the same beat have some lightly fat italian guy who smoked and drank since he was 14 live up to 104
@themilkman @BowsacNoodle @monkyyy @nugger @professionalbigot69 see, that's what I am talking about. This sort of rationalization of being a lowlife is exactly why I appreciate you guys so much when you warn against the dangers of having a team of private doctors tell you where your autoimmune disorder comes from!
This is certainly a great outlook on life you are cultivating here.

@monkyyy @WandererUber @themilkman @nugger @professionalbigot69 Nah he’s cool. I like Jeff too, but for different reasons. He might have a good take on this.
