@gabriel zed is wrong overall but correct in the small. if you get paid to write throwaway code, just do it. if you don't want to, get a new job (or start a new business, much easier now). the idea that up until now small software shops were doing TDD, formal proofs, triple human review and delivering high quality software is preposterous. most programmers wrote throwaway trash. and indeed, if your boss asks you to 'just vibe and not review', just add a 'please get an independent agent to review before committing' line added to your agents.md. your 'boss' won't care and the code will be better than what the average software shop produces.


(n.b.: LLMs not being as unproductive and abrasive as zed has been over many years is one of the reasons why they are popular)
