highly recommend chopping up some mini cucumbers and marinating them in a combination of sesame oil, msg, and your favorite chili product and favorite vinegar. I use spicy sesame oil and apple cider vinegar respectively.

@georgia don't chop them, beat them them with a rolling pin, the edges take the sauce better

@georgia si, had it in japan with pretty much the same ingredients that you mentioned, have been making it a lot since then
