@kaia@pleroma.soykaf.com They ruined the games completely. Everything has a stupid plastic Unreal Engine filter on it. They also removed many songs that were iconic in the originals.
Introduced many new bugs. And yes it is literally based on the mobile port. It plays like garbage because of input issues too.
The original game as a PS2 game, which was ported to PC with the keyboard emulated a PS2 controller which was already a bit janky, then they ported that version to mobile so they added touch controls and then they ported that mobile version back to PC as the "definitive edition" where they keyboard emulates touch controls which emulates a keyboard which emulated a PS2 controller...
@kaia@pleroma.soykaf.com Also they upscaled all the textures and models using AI which causes many horrors and the stupid Unreal Engine filter completely disrespects the original game's artstyle.
It is also very clear that they only playtested like the first two hours of the game and the further you get into the story the worse it gets.
