@kaia in english it's controversial when people do this to Shakespeare, but from the Goethe I've read, it's far less archaic than Shakespearean english.

@genmaicha Goethe is several centuries younger than Shakespeare. Shakespeare equivalent would be reading Luther's bible. a Goethe equivalent would be Walter Scott, whom Goethe really liked.
