I wish minors could comprehend that MDNI is not a boundary that people set because children are annoying or whatever, but rather for legitimate safety concerns for themselves in the current political climate.
It's really not that crazy to see why adults might want to distance themselves from children because any interaction with a child as a queer person is easily construed as grooming by the worst of society.

@julia yesh. I've had to block minors on other stuffs bc they DMed me rando, I'm not rly comfy talking to ppl who aren't adults for the reasons u say.
@julia im guessing you got reported by that weirdo kid who goes around reporting all the mdni accounts? we banned them from our instance. i dont want that "please groom me"-style, fed vibes behavior anywhere it could ever be associated with me or our users
