I don't know if Mitra qualifies as such, but I guess it is time to move to a self-hosted forge.

@silverpill did you vote against it?
@happyborg No, I think only members of Codeberg organization can vote. I didn't even know this is being considered
@silverpill am pretty sure codeberg would welcome mitra. I might be wrong but to me, this statement is wide to be able to ban crypto projects which are 95% scams. Did you ask codeberg team?
@lutindiscret @happyborg I don't feel that mitra is unwelcome there, my interactions with Codeberg team have been mostly pleasant. But I also don't want to count on favorable interpretations.
I didn't ask, but somebody else mentioned mitra in a discussion 7 months ago, and was ignored: https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Community/issues/2184#issuecomment-8629041
@icedquinn @happyborg @lutindiscret @silverpill Spin up a Gitea instance, and disable search engine indexing with robots.txt, it is not that hard. Once scrapers find you, geoblock them with geoip2, or kill off website access without an account. If you aren't hosting a large project, you can afford to be bold with countermeasures.

2@icedquinn @happyborg @lutindiscret @silverpill That just means you aren't yet annoyed enough by Codeberg or DeVault, which is fine. I'm saying that selfhosting is a reasonable-ish option when you get fed up with other options.
