@graf Usually complainers would file a DMCA request through GitHub and they'd take it down, even temporarily like when the RIAA tried to get rid of youtube-dl

@sam They did file against nitter but for some abuse of the computer fraud act to github and they also contacted his registrar. I send him a bunch of money so we can set this up in a way this hopefully wont happen again because even my 2006 twitter accounts are locked right now

Back when Dorsey started it, anyone with a cell phone could say anything that would fit in 140 characters. Anything. And anyone else could read it. Like the early days of irc. Now the fuckers want to see your drivers license and medical history.
