I understand that calling things "conspiracy theories" has kind of fallen out of touch amongst a vast majority of the people who have paid attention to the way the world's governments act in the last decade or so, dating back to things they were doing since WW2, but there also needs to be a word you can say in polite company to describe the kinds of people who are saying "The Artemis mission is FAKE because their pictures of the sides of the moon we can't see are partially illuminated!!!!"

@medievalwars yeah but "conspiracy theories" also describe things that are proven to be facts now, like that the CIA invented crack cocaine to put more black people in prison.

@graf @medievalwars @sun Probably the same thing that happened many years ago when people found out pete and I were friends - the worthwhile ones would either not care or voice their disapproval but continue to be friends of mine. The ones I dont want to talk to anyway would defederate or try to cancel me. back in 2018/early 2019 the matsoc types tried extremely hard to "cancel" me for the simple crime of enjoying pete. I am impossible to kill!
pete was one of the coolest people I've ever met. moon and him are tied for that position from fedi and that's saying a lot because I've met a lot of musicians over my life. I could sit with pete and moon and shop talk about shit for weeks and never get bored. I was fixing something in pl-fe last summer while sitting on the porch and pete was like "What are we hacking on let me in on this"

@graf @medievalwars @sun I intend meet both you and Pete someday but I second that so much with moon. he's one of the best friends and coolest guys imaginable and my life has been nothing but immeasurably improved by knowing him these last ten years. even my mom thinks he's great!
If I could have flown moon to hang out with me 3 times last year like I did with pete I would have. I asked him every time, too but he wasn't able to because of reasons. Next time I want to spend time with them sharing knowledge instead of just bar crawling and shitposting irl. I feel like I missed so much from moon that I could have absorbed. Pete I was able to see much more frequently because he wasn't tied down at the time. He even fell asleep on my moms dining room table. Next time Moon comes by I'll introduce him to my mom, too

I wanted to drive out to you but the delivery of my durango took over a month and pushed literally every plan i had back over a month. the dealership was so hard up to get me to not cancel the sale they gave me a brand new chevy pickup with 1km on the odometer to drive to toronto to take my ex's mom out because I promised her I would try to make her day better. lmfao. still giving them a bad review btw

Make sure you have any meds you need if you have issues with being around a bunch of people because I was surrounded by women taking pictures with me the entire time including women working the venue and female cops. They even got a couple shots with @ForbiddenDreamer but @adequate and @mushroom_soup were our chaperones for the night since we were well past booty blasted before we even left my house
