its always wrong to hate someone. human hatred isnt like divine opposition, its inherently impure.

@georgia hate that derives from othering was necessary in tribal past to create inner group coherence. only with hate humans can overcome the natural inhibition to hurt or kill others
@kaia @georgia Even if you genetically ripped out every bit of in-group favoritism/out-group suspicion in a population, then plopped them down to colonize somewhere, inevitably they will still learn to hate any one group that antagonizes them. Even more so because they'd initially be curious and naive, making them even madder when they clash with any one insular ethnic group.
@georgia it's not wrong, being impure is fine. I enjoy hating shitty people
@dtluna there are lots of things people enjoy that are nectar at the beginning and poison at the end
@georgia alcohol is poison and yet it's great
@dtluna debatable. expensive, tastes gross, makes you fat, makes you do stupid shit, makes you pee...
@georgia depends on the kind. Here wine is not too expensive, and just watch your dosage.
@dtluna eh its a cope. not interested
@georgia hate based on emotion is bad, hate that is "nothing personnel kid, but we are each other's competing outgroup and i must remove you for my ingroup" probably isn't
@hakui not all exclusion is inherently bad but all exclusion based on hatred is
@georgia the question is, is "nothing personnel, but we cannot get along and i must remove you" considered hate
@hakui not necessarily but in practice the notion that two peoples categorically cannot get along is paved with hatred and cateogical removal of everyone including innocent men, and women and children is an evil act
