@nyx @3 I get being fixated on lucid dreaming. dreams that feel more real than reality with multi sensory involvement can be incredibly intoxicating, especially when highly symbolic and guiding or prophetic. but researchers are focusing on the wrong stage of sleep. people dont need more bread and circuses and after a spate of extraordinary dreams I always find myself neglecting reality. in contrast dreamless sleep is where we rest in Brahman every night without knowing it, and to wake up in dreamless sleep is the definition of nibbana. this however will never be induced by science, only by yoga or another extremely extraordinary event.
