@djsumdog actually signal is on fdroid but its got antifeatures smh

There's an open source client called Molly ... but it's not on the official F-Droid repo and has anti-features.

I use Signal because I don't have FB/Insta/Whatsapp and it's the only thing a small fraction of my friends have.

What anti-features does signal have? I use Signal for the normies as well, otherwise XMPP or simplex is preferred.

@sarvo @djsumdog @georgia oh yeah, I'm aware of that part with the phone numbers. I always recommend users disable the "find by number feature".
