My opinion is that MMOs are one of the more efficient anti-crime prevention tools because they're explicitly addictive to lonely people with highly disregulated emotional states that correlate with anti-social behaviour.
If I was a glowie running a de-radicalization program I would setup a "gaming to careers" pipeline.

My mentality is a bit weird, because I'm obsessive about stuff so I can like read a programming language spec or something, but I lose interest in things really fast so I have no addictive tenancies whatsoever.
