I actually took a sick day off from work today, for no reason whatsoever. I'll probably regret it if I actually get sick.

I have some timeline crap creeping up on me (think jail time because I'm totally fun like that) and that's at the bottom of my list.
Emotionally I'm exhausted and it's effecting "Work".

I think I got Chia-Lin fired because I made her slack for no reason, now she is a CEO! I'm better at making other people successful then I. I'm still a sys admin.
@doctorwhom @GhostOnTheHalfShell @juliewebgirl Chia-Lin left us because she was Corporate (From Wells Fargo IIRC), she *hated* our process. Fair enough.
Me coming out of the shower in eng wearing naught but a towel because my damned SkyTel went ballistic BECAUSE we had a Packet Storm and I had to badge into the server room perhaps did not help her opinion. **[2]
If you *survived* 90 days in our environment, you got to stay. She didn't.
Broke me forever as well. Observation, not complaint.

I & Chia-Lin took a boat to Sausalito & back during working hours, just to be on a boat. It was one of the best mental health days I had! /* don't tell my spouse */ a week or so later she was gone. Maybe it was months, stupid memory.
