@echo no, it seems that our notifications are a bit borked. I keep missing some too.

Are you missing notifs from other instances as well? For me it only happens with minds (as far as I know), which is what led me to think it was an issue on their end. (I have issues with following minds accounts, and accounts there I already follow not showing up on my TL too.)
Or maybe ottman is still salty that I said bad things about his shitcoin farm and is pulling a torba and partially blocking me.
