@jowek @douginamug DC has broadcast channels so you can blast content out one-way to countless followers, but for group chats you have to trust everyone because the fully decentralized aspect makes moderation difficult; there's no central server to enforce rules and right now everyone in the chat has equal admin access to the group chat so they can add/remove people, rename it, etc. Jerks will cause chaos, so it's not a great fit for that particular use case right now

Depending on use-case, i think its good. Like in a co-work situation for example.

But yes your right, its something else that centralized admin authority.

From my experience its good for organizing groups and projects, were alot of them before used signal+riseup pad or matrix.

Chaotic jerks are everywhere i guess, also IRL :)

@jowek @douginamug Oh don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of it but people just need to be aware of this current limitation.
