@rain Gen 1 DASKeyboard man that takes me back. I had a Gen 1 Das I gave my nephew a few years ago that still works. I upgraded to a Gen 4 one and still rocking it. Not sure what my next mechanical board will be but mine is still working great so no need to replace it.
@ooignignoktoo @rain I threw m das keyboard in the trash, they could never fix the keypress duplication bug, went through two of them

I finally bit the bullet and bought that 8bitdo retro mechanical keyboard. No regrets, still works perfectly. More common for mouses, but for keyboards, I don't know a lot that has 3 different connections that you can just switch on a whim on top of having a built in battery

@coolboymew @ooignignoktoo @rain I have a couple Keychrons and I love them. No problems. Heard good things about the 8bitdo except the configuration software is windows only, no big deal though. These days I'll only buy a QMK or Via configurable keyboard though
@sun @ooignignoktoo @rain The config software is a total non-issue for the keyboard, because for the A/B buttons and external A/B buttons, you can just simply press the quick config button to set the shortcut. No software needed, and then on Mac or whatever Linux DE of choice, you can just map the shortcut to whatever the hell you want to do
