GOP "consultant" (paid hoe) Caroline Sunshine was on Jesse Watters show last night telling people: "Ummm well like actually maybe you shouldn't like um make fun of people because they can't um like actually afford a $20 burrito. That like um lyke makes them really mad and they tend to not vote for you...actually."

I don't really know what a burrito's supposed to cost, but I remember 89 cent burgers, and $4 burgers, and $8 burgers, and I guess it's like $10 now (?)

The Hundred Dollar Hamburger seems like an impenetrable wall, but is it really?

What's the chance we really get to $100 for a burger or a burrito in our lifetimes?
1966 median income $7,400
1966 big mac cost: $0.45

1966 median income: 16,444 big macs

2026 median income: $90,000
2026 big mac cost: $8

2026 median income: 11,250 big macs

That's including every advancement, all of the automation, the low wage work, the lower quality meat etc. STILL, that is a 31% decline in the standard of living, just talking about big macs.
