I wonder if there's an equity fund that just runs around investing in every Amish owned business. I bet that beats the SPX.

@cjd why would they? IDK about the Amish but the Hutterites here are incredible businessmen.

@cjd I imagine their economies are mainly local investment-based, and with generation-rhythmed reports (instead of quarterly ones, lol).
Equity fund managers would probably need an Amish-to-CollapsingFiatHouseofCards dictionary, to know where to start 😛.
IDK but IMO worth looking in to if you are in the business of placing capital.
Mennonites as well, outstanding business people. Besides, they are not money-hungry and they do not care for an IPO.
@FourOh-LLC @cjd they sure don't . My youngest son now manages a store that used to BE MENNONITE based but they did an offshoot for capital to run their charities went from 1000 Villages to Village Goods.
