@cjd do you know about lucid? their cars seem pretty impressive engineering-wise

Heard of them, but not in a good context.

Personally I'm not excited about ANY new cars b/c they're all basically smart phones on wheels, and I don't like smart phones.

But that aside, I would not buy from a "small" company, no matter how clever their engineering is, because it's just impossible that they have a good spare parts supply chain.

@cjd i know they had software and liquidity issues for a while, but they seem to be fixing both so i'm hopeful
