I bought the cheapest piece of junk off amazon and learned a couple of things from it:
1. If it's designed to push grass into a catch bag, it's gonna clog all of the time. You really need a side-shoot - I actually cut one in the side of mine to make it more usable
2. If you're gonna be out there wasting YOUR time, go with a gas engine because you want as much power as possible and gas usage in one of these is basically nothing
3. Ideally the deck should be metal, cheap ones are plastic

All good points. Don’t bag your clippings put them back into the lawn. Metal deck is nice just scrape that wet grass out from underneath the deck every on e in a while and it will cut better and last longer.
