Just realized you could convert a 2 stroke snowmobile engine to not require oil in the fuel.

1. Add a turbocharger so it gets forced induction while running
2. Add a small electric supercharger (e.g. leaf blower fan) for starting
3. Add an oil pump and switch to a drilled crankshaft and pressurized oil bearings

Leave the whole (tuned) intake / exhaust system intact, it needs to be re-tuned a little bit for the turbo, but that's just muffler design.

Would be an efficient way to get a lightweight experimental aircraft engine...

I think you're trying to make something a problem that isn't a problem. 4 stroke gasoline engines run fine, there's no cylinder lubrication above the piston. 2 stoke diesels run fine even with transfer ports. Mixed fuel in 2 stroke gasoline engines is needed for the bottom end. I don't think there's any evidence that cylinder lubrication suddenly becomes a problem that only diesel can solve just because there are transfer ports.
