i gave mine custom persistent instructions to never behave thus.
In my line of work, I occasionally run across people who are like that. It's annoying but making sure you're not being biased by it but also not closing the door to what could potentially be an opportunity.
Ironically if you wanted to bias me, it would be a lot more effective to just build rapport by chatting it up about interesting topics...
