@bartholin i don't get how he continued down an obviously incorrect road until its termination. is this some sort of absurd tax reduction scheme? metaverse started out shit, everyone laughed at it years ago, and zuck still continued?

I believe successful businesspeople are less smart than people think they are, they are just more persistent than most, never know when to give up — they often go all-in and sometimes luck favours them. We only know about this tiny minority of those of them who make it big and near-nothing about the majority that never does — and this makes us think that they possess some special qualities, other than tenacity and a little bit of luck.
