@casuist The Iranian leadership is backed into a corner. They're unpopular domestically, the country's economy is in a dumpster and the prospect of living in exile, for example in Russia doesn't seem like a good long term strategy. Plus, you can't expect rational behavior from a bunch of religious fanatics. Their only path to victory is hoping the enemy gets bored and leaves.
