The spider wisely started off with high angles, but as it approached the top of the glass it began to level out, stretching its resources thin without the means of replenishing them, just like Hitler.
After considering the spider's predicament further, I realize that getting webs to stick to glass at an upward angle isn't as easy as it may sound, especially on the bottom end where the glass tapers inward. Although I disagree with the spider's strategy overall, I understand why it operated in such manner, and I believe its efforts should be commended in spite of its ultimate failure.
