@professionalbigot69 there is a surprising lack of tooling and support (on both OSes) for the simple fact that phones don't only go into planned obsolescence but also might break or have a nonfunctional screen for example.

@WandererUber I've had decent luck with adb and itunes/apple devices but fuck iCloud backups
@professionalbigot69 pill me on using adb to back up and restore apps. This shit doesn't work with messengers at all, i.e. where the messages are

@professionalbigot69 the problem is the unholy combination of (laudable) minimum security measures like full encryption and not allowing adb without unlock anymore, and "our users are completely helpless cavemen retard niggers so everything has to be easy and in the cloud"
