An average single family house in the US is basically a bunch of plywood, gypsum and cardboard, so how come people pay out of their asses for that shit? What's the deal there? Your average American can't figure out that it literally takes two guys who know what they're doing and one summer vacation to build something like that? 🤔

50k-ish. You add concrete foundation, which you absolutely need, good varnish, wiring, water installation and shit, and you have a decent house for less than 200k. Comes with manual like Ikea furniture. C'mon!

@cjd For around me, 0.25 acre lot was $100k. ~2300 Sq.ft. House will sell for 450-500k. For the high urban areas, land can get up to 90% - especially for flips. Most elsewhere it's the house.
