well, it's the fog of war. even legitimate headlines are there to fool those they are intended to fool.
Like, the first night of Iran bombing military bases and infrastructure, and that didn't kill a single zogbot? 3 zogbots were killed the next day? huh? I know it's not front line fighting like in the Russo-Ukraine War, but they had to have killed more than 3. but according to the headlines, that's it.

@wishgranter14 @Terry There's also bound to be some American and Israeli aircraft that have been shot down.
@Bunsen @wishgranter14 The US has been firing standoff munitions at extreme range. They didn't go anywhere near Iran afaik.
@Terry @wishgranter14 One factor working against them is that their air bases are getting hit. Now, they have fewer places to land.

Same thing happened when we bombed their nuclear sites, they bombed some empty airbase fucking up a few buildings and that's about it

i know from my parents experience in Vietnam, that events they went through were reported very differently in the press. And it's not even like it's specifically deliberate, it's just in the chaos and confusion of the moment people are going to have conflicting accounts of what happened.
