@tyler ive seen some nightmares in blueprints man.
If you don't understand memory management and the consequences of you have no business making video games.
@tyler I was excited to see if Rust can solve some issues for games like it does for general programming. Unfortunately, it makes the hardest problem in game programming (entity reference invalidation) it into an even worse problem

1I was about to complain about how all the borrow checking and such that rust will end up having to do will be just as slow, but then I remembered that most all modern games are built on layers of shit and about 80% of all running code is copy/cheat protection, obfuscation/does nothing important but still takes up cpu time.
