This isn't an elitist thing, I am just like, extremely out of touch with shit that does not spark joy. It used to be that when someone said "$current_thing" and I asked what the hell they were talking about, they'd get incredulous; now when I have not heard of a thing, peoples speculate that it is because I am an "unc" rather than because I am a nerd and I never followed $current_thing.
