Does anyone have any takes on this Pragmata situation? Hasn't Capcom always gone for this sort of child stylization in games before? Would pedophiles still be going after the game (and shitlibs calling it pedobait) if they had used a more underdeveloped facial model see 3rd image)? Personally, I do think the model is a bit uncanny for the age I think they are going for (reminds me a bit of that goyslop girlboss doll horror movie that I can't remember the name of).

Maybe there's nothing more to this than pedophiles on the internet. IDK.
I don't agree with that, but I think that if they do model a child character with an adult female facial actress, then there is at least something to the claim that it can create an uncanny aspect.

I saw some actual footage from the game and she doesn't seem very uncanny, maybe these edits are biased.

That's not the argument being made by the woman's tweet, and not my position. The argument is that there are subtle features which age the character, and could result in either an uncanny effect or, the argument being made by the woman, lead to unethical sexualization.

Unfortunately, given my interactions with pedophile elephant individuals, I am well aware that there are groups of people who would sexualize the character regardless of which model was used.

Please engage with the argument.
>the argument being made by the woman, lead to unethical sexualization.
yeah, and my point is this seems silly.

>there are subtle features which age the character, and could result in either an uncanny effect
I agree with this, obviously. One such feature is that it looks like a bunch of polygons made by a computer. She does look a bit uncanny. The even younger version likely doesn't look as uncanny because it was made with AI instead. That's what I would say.
