@PopulistRight @Terry Yeah this might actually be the big difference between Russian and American corruption. Russia has so many fewer checks and balances on that kind of thing that they simple steal the money. In America you actually have to produce something, charge 100x what it's worth and it still doesn't work right.

@thefinn @PopulistRight @Terry Russian/eastern corruption is also a lot easier to clean up. A phonecall from the head honcho, maybe an "accidental" fall from a 9th floor window and its fixed. In the west its literally impossible. Ive watched a dozen videos on the f35 us defence department evaluation papers. Probably the biggest scandal in us defence contract history. Its literally impossible to fix it, or prosecute anyone, despite being the most obvious fraud.
