FUNNY STORY - irl I have "nice hair". Back when it was acceptable to do so, I grew it out past my shoulders. I can't describe it accurately without providing detail a little too dox-worthy, but it was glorious.

I had a lot of attention from the ladies. They loved it.

THEN ONE DAY I noticed what type of attention they were were paying.

>omg your hair is so beautiful what product do you use omg you must spend hours caring for it

It was the 'wrong kind' of attention. Explained a bit. I shaved it off the next day.

@NoDoxGregBrady @vitalis husband and I just quit going to the haircut place during the pandemic. I stopped dyeing my hair and I haven't had it cut in all those years, except for little end trims I do myself. we hairmaxxed together and it was AWESOME. eventually he got tired of his glorious mane and his Ortho-beard and has a regulation dude haircut now. it was a sad day but he actually looks better I think. women started flirting openly with him in front of me, that was discombobulating.
When we moved out to the sticks in OK, one of the first things I bought was a nice Oster clipper set. Wife gives me a #3 about every 4-6 weeks.

Feels good man.

She still goes somewhere to get hers done.

Maintenance on wymyn is something else.
@UnCL3 @vitalis @NoDoxGregBrady I watched a video of a millennial staring down the wall who said "what if we just accepted that we're getting uglier?" the rest of the vid she didn't say anything more meaningful, just complaining about how MUCH maintenance you gotta do. you don't gotta do it, but then you will be aging naturally and will look ... old. that old saw about having the face you deserve at 50 applies. also if you were good-looking as a young, then when the uglification habbens you'll still be acceptably meh IF you maintain dignity
