We used to mix up our idioms at uni.

You might say "shit a brick" or "fuck a duck".

But nearly 30 years later, when I've hurt myself, I "shit a duck".

"shit a duck that hurts".

Probably the most British thing I've done in years.

Make rice.

Make miso soup.

Stuff tomato sauce on it.
